Zoo Trip

We finally found a nice weathered day that Mike was off and deceided to head to the zoo. Conner had never been before and was quite amuzed with the animals. However he has hit the stage that he doesn't want to sit in a stroller, he wants to walk and he doesn't want to hold onto you either. he's a big boy. so besides that and the fact that he is a water bug and wanted to get in everything that had water, the day went well. here is a picture of him looking into the big fish tank and when I say big, those fish were bigger than him.

Halloween

How fun is it to go around dressed and everyone give you candy. Conner has learned that he loves candy, especially sticky suckers, but thats the fun of being a kid. This year again we had trunk or treat at church and I decorated my trunk to go with the "very hungry caterpillar" book. So of course Conner was the caterpillar. This was my attempt at a home-made costume. not to bad, but it was too hot to wear very along, long enough to snap a picture or too.

Petting Farm

Once a year we have a petting "farm" that comes to daycare. Conner was big enough this year to go inside and pet the animals. They brought sheep, rabbits, chickens, and goats. He was so fascinated. I just hope now he doesn't try to climb in with dad's chickens.

Where does the time go?

Wow where does the time go? You blink and your children have grown up. Well some of mine jus tlike to think they're grown or is that all teenagers...lol.

Conner is growing so fast too. He is into everything! Turn your back and he'll be standing on top of the kitchen table or one of his favorite things to do is grab the remote while you're not looking and take off. You call his name and the faster he runs laughing the whole time. Wow and Jansen will be 17 in a few months and we spent last night deceiding what class ring to order. Wow! Andrew and Walker are doing good too. Girls have been entering their mind lately and we have had many long discussions on that topic. Well I hope all is well and we get to see you soon.

Surgery Time

Thank you all for remembering Conner in your prayers. Conner had tubes put in his ears last Friday. He did well. A little frightened to wake up and no mommy or daddy in sight, but he finally calmed down. He is doing much better now, not falling down near as much and no ear infection for the first time in a long time. Please continue to pray for him, he will be having his other surgery on Aug. 10th at Wolfson Childrens hospital. Hope all of you are well and miss you.

Just in case you don't get your invitation in the mail. I'm bad with keeping up with addresses. Anyways, hope to see you all.
